Worship Confessional: 8/10/2008
This is my third Worship Confessional in a row, with nothing in-between, so that shows about how much blogging I’ve been able to get done these last few weeks of summer. Different line-up today, although Dave stayed on guitar. Our set:
- The Only One (Nigel Briggs)
- You Do All Things Well (Tomlin, Reeves, & Clement)
- Desire (Jessica Ketola)
- Above All Else (Vicky Beeching)
- Worthy, You Are Worthy (Matt Redman & Chris Tomlin)
- At All Times (Vicky Beeching)
- As Children (Jeremy Riddle)
I wasn’t at rehearsal this week, and a few others were gone as well, but this set went off nicely. Our musicians:
- Rebecca LaFollette, guitar & lead
- Dave Floria, electric guitar
- Jeff Searles, bass
- Eilene Searles, djembe/backup vocals
- Brad Reynolds, drums
- Me, piano/keys
I’m not on the schedule to play the rest of the month, but you never know. Things change. Have a great week, everybody.
How was your worship time this week?

Rick, looks like a great set list. I haven’t done much Vicky Beeching, I need to look deeper in to that possibility. Thanks for stopping by russhutto.com (via Fred’s Sunday Setlist).

It looks like you’re into photography as well. I will have to check out some of your posts related to it momentarily!

great set list. loved your blogging tips…..I just learned a few things.
A keys player, photographer and blogger. Awesome! Do you have any pics up on your site? Also, I’d love to get some feedback from you on a few pictures I’ve taken if you’re willing.
@David Lindner: Thanks for the comment. I’m not as much of a photographer as I’d like to be, although I do have my eye on a Canon Rebel. I’ve really gotten into editing and enhancing photographs over the last few years, though. I’d love to see your photos. Send me a link and I’ll take a look.
Do you do the Vicky Beeching songs in the original keys?
Paul J.s last blog post..Sunday Retrospective - August 10, 2008
@Paul J.: Not sure…I don’t know what those original keys are! We did Above All Else in D and At All Times in G, then modulated to A at the end.
