Plugins:
- Absolute Comments–Allows the admin (that’s me) to respond to comments from within the admin panel, instead of going to the post itself to comment.
- AJAX Comments–For that just-cleaned fresh scent. Plus, the user can instantly see their comment without reloading the whole page. Slick.
- Akismet–Keep the bad stuff out
- Commentluv–Posts the commenters last post if they enter their own blog into the url form. Kind of a courtesy thing.
- del.icio.us for WordPress–Automatically includes my links at del.icio.us.
- Feed Locations–All native WordPress feeds on here now go through Feedburner.
- My Link Order–Lets me customize my links column by putting them in the order I want. Still troubleshooting this one.
- Subscribe to Comments–Lets the commenter get notifications when additional comments are made on a given post.
- WordPress Database Backup–My computer teacher in high school said, “If it’s important, back it up. If it’s really important, back it up twice.” I use this along with GoDaddy’s own database export feature. Just in case.
